Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Residential Finishing & Warranty Service Technician to join our team in Arnprior and the Ottawa Valley area. The role involves completing finishing work on new homes to maintain the highest quality standards, performing repair and maintenance tasks, addressing warranty service requests and ensuring a positive customer experience through qualified interactions. You will work on-site, ensuring timely resolution of any field issues while upholding the reputation of Mackie Homes.

Qualifications

- Experience with Maintenance & Repair tasks in residential construction i.e; drywall repairs, tile setting, exterior repairs to siding, etc.
- Strong Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for field service scenarios




- Ability to deliver excellent Customer Service while managing homeowner concerns professionally
- Hands-on experience in Field Service work, including working on-site to address finishing needs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for on-site work
- Experience in residential construction or a related field is a plus
- Valid Security clearance

The successful candidate will be local to the surrounding Ottawa area, have their own transportation, will be working in unoccupied and homeowner-occupied homes as a representative of Mackie Homes and operating from a smart-device to complete homeowner submitted repair lists including; tile repairs, drywall repairs, caulking, small exterior repairs, etc.

Hourly wage will vary based on experience and ability ($26.00-$30.00/hr). Experience and knowledge of construction and finish carpentry is essential for this position. Company benefits available and a team environment to help support you.
