Take on a leadership role at PCRS as a Shift Lead in Surrey's transitional housing initiative. Focus on mentoring staff and supporting youths in a structured, supportive environment during evening and weekend shifts.
In this Shift Lead position, you will help guide staff while providing direct support to young adults aged 18-24. Duties include managing crisis situations and leading group activities that enhance life skills. Your ability to foster a positive atmosphere will influence youths' transitions to independent living.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor and provide support to staff on shift
• Develop individualized service plans with participants
• Assist in maintaining youth program expectations
• Conduct audits and monitor youth progress
• Facilitate group activities and support housing transitions
Requirements:
• 2-Year Diploma in Child and Youth Care or higher
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience
• Effective team collaboration and crisis response skills
• Robust communication and presentation abilities
• Experience in a culturally inclusive setting
