**Position Description**
We are seeking a highly qualified candidate for a Clinical Research Project Manager (CRPM) position in the Child Health Evaluative Sciences program.

This is a full-time role (1.0 FTE), one-year contract, with the possibility for extension.

The CRPM will work within the Cohen Lab.

Dr.

Cohen's program of researchworks to develop, evaluate, and disseminate a number of evidence-based interventions aimed at improving health outcomes for children with medical complexity, providing caregiving supports for families, and mitigating unnecessary healthcare expenditures.

The CRPM will work closely with Dr.

Cohen and participate in a series of projects merging in the research program, particularly those related to parental health outcomes.

The CRPM will conduct clinical research studies according to regulatory and institutional guidelines and requirements.

This includes coordinating patient recruitment and data collection, study administration, preparing study submissions and documents for the Research Ethics Board, organizing data entry and conducting data analysis (qualitative and quantitative).

The CRPM also assists in the preparation of study results, including presentations, progress reports,



posters, and manuscripts.

The successful candidate will ideally begin working in August or September.
**Here's What You'll Do**
Contribute to study protocols and measures to plan, organize and carry out clinical research
Coordinate and facilitate meetings with the study PI, team and stakeholders including patient, family and community partners
Recruit and provide support to research assistants and coordinators
Create and manage a reference and study database
Submit to REB and coordinate revisions in accordance with institutional requirements
Assist the PI with annual approval processes and amend protocols and consents as required
Maintain records of research activities and prepare periodic and ad hoc reports, as required by investigator, partner groups and/or regulatory bodies
Develop and monitor timelines for study
Develop and present material for publication using strong written, verbal, and graphical communication skills with the ability to express complex scientific concepts effectively
Present scientific outcomes to clinicians, policy-makers and members of the research community.

This would include opportunities for publications and presentations at national and international conferences
Opportunities to develop research skills and career development
Keep abreast of regulations and policies governing clinical research
Work with a great team of researchers, trainees and knowledge users
**Here's What You'll Need**
Master's degree in Epidemiology, Health Science or a related field with a minimum of one year of experience in clinical research OR post-secondary degree in a health-related discipline (e.g., Nursing, Epidemiology, Health Sciences, Psychology) with 2 years related clinical research experience. A clinical professional degree may be an asset, as would certification as a clinical research associate (e.g., SOCRA, ACRP accreditation)
Previous experience and/or training in project management and/or grant writing is an asset
Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to function independently yet collaboratively within a team, including research staff, patient partners and trainees
Advanced computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and cloud computing (Zoom, Dropbox, One





Drive and others)
Competency in data interpretation; knowledge of statistical and/or qualitative research software is an asset
**Employment Type:** 1 year CONTRACT w/possibility of renewal.
