As a Turbomachinery Engineer, you'll lead the end-to-end design of cryogenic pumps and hot-side turbines while utilizing advanced modeling and simulation techniques. Your expertise in aerodynamics and hydrodynamics will ensure productive and effective design solutions tailored for the complexities of high-speed rotating equipment, alongside collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee fluidic design from preliminary sizing through detailed analysis • Define blade geometries in ANSYS BladeModeler • Perform comprehensive CFD analyses for varied conditions • Investigate transient behaviors and their implications • Develop preliminary design codes and automation tools
Requirements: • Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree • Minimum 5 years in turbomachinery roles • High proficiency in commercial CFD software • Familiar with Siemens NX and MATLAB programming • Experience in correlating CFD with test outcomes
