As a dedicated video producer, you will create original stories reflecting the diverse experiences of Calgary and southern Alberta. You will oversee the entire production process, from concept to delivery, ensuring high-quality content tailored to platforms like YouTube and TikTok.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conceive, pitch, and develop story ideas tied to current news
• Research, write, and edit written and visual content
• Determine the visual style and pacing for each story item




• Finalize video packaging for proper online delivery
• Mentor journalists in enhancing their video storytelling skills
Requirements:
• Degree or certificate in Television Production or Journalism
• 5 years of related industry experience
• Proven track record in creative visual storytelling
• Strong technical knowledge of production methods
• Flexibility for varied shifts and out-of-town travel
