This role is a key backfill position at Wolfe Heavy Equipment, located in Strathroy, Ontario. As a Mechanical Designer, you will utilize SolidWorks and engineering software to optimize heavy equipment components. This role combines design, research, and prototyping efforts while fostering teamwork across departments to bring concepts to reality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and optimize heavy equipment systems using FEA and CFD tools
• Create and refine 3D models and technical drawings in SolidWorks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams from concept to production




• Maintain project documentation, drawings, and design records
• Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proficient in SolidWorks and related 3D CAD software
• Familiarity with FEA, CFD, and engineering methodologies
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and hydraulic systems
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
