Elevate safety standards at NexGen as the Senior Health, Safety, and Environment Coordinator at the Rook I site. This full time position emphasizes strategic HSE implementation and compliance adherence.
Reporting to the Manager, Site Health, Safety, Environment & Radiation (HSER), you will lead HSE initiatives and ensure strong safety culture among teams. Your focus on emergency response and risk management will support ongoing site operations while mentoring Health & Safety staff and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement the Health & Safety Management System
• Collaborate with site teams on emergency preparedness
• Manage H&S; data dashboards and reporting




• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance
• Guide incident investigation and analysis processes
Requirements:
• Diploma/degree in Occupational Health & Safety
• 8–10+ years HSE experience in construction environments
• Comprehensive understanding of HSE legislation
• Experience with HSE reporting tools and systems
• Relevant certifications such as CRSP/CHSC preferred
Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance while developing site competencies at NexGen’s Rook I project.
