About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Managing Director to join their professional leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Managing Director in achieving business results through sales and market leadership, as well as the implementation of strategic direction and representation in the marketplace. This role involves hiring and managing a team of Investment Counsellors,
ensuring the team meets growth targets, and maintaining high standards of audit, risk management, and compliance. Applicants for the Associate Managing Director position at the company must have a university degree, 8-10 years of related sales leadership and people management experience, and professional qualifications such as an MBA, CFA, CIM, CA, CFP, or equivalent. A strong background in finance and investments, particularly in the Private Client/High Net Worth segment, is essential. The role requires a candidate with a growth mindset, solid leadership skills, and the ability to manage and resolve conflicts. While not mandatory, being registerable with the provincial securities commission as a supervising person and prior investment counseling experience are considered advantageous.
