You will assist the IPC Director in developing and implementing the infection prevention and control program, focusing on system-wide improvements. This role requires a baccalaureate degree in a health-related field and a minimum of one year of clinical experience as an Infection Control Professional. You will provide expert consultation, manage risks, and facilitate compliance with health standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Consult stakeholders on infection control standards
• Conduct surveillance for infection trends
• Lead educational initiatives for staff and partners
• Manage risk factors related to infections
• Evaluate and implement evidence-based practices
Requirements:
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing, Microbiology, or related field
• Minimum three years in a clinical health care setting
• Active registration with a regulatory college
• One year of experience in infection control
• Solid communication and computer skills
