Provide specialized nutritional care in the Neonatal ICU as a Clinical Dietitian, focusing on infants with critical nutritional needs. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the assessment and planning of nutritional strategies for extremely low birth weight infants. This position involves attending interprofessional rounds, preparing TPN and enteral feeding orders, and consulting within the Neonatal Follow Up Clinic. Commitment to participating in quality initiatives and research is highly valued in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead assessments of neonatal nutritional care
• Collaborate on TPN and enteral feeding orders




• Engage in morning interprofessional rounds
• Support the Neonatal Follow Up Clinic
• Mentor dietetic interns and students
Requirements:
• CDO membership essential
• Recent neonatal or related nutrition support experience
• Initiative and prioritization skills required
• Solid communication and collaboration competencies
• Counselling experience with patients/families
