Duties and Skills Requirements
- Interpretation of blueprints and drawings to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Preparing layouts in conformance with building codes
- Measure, cut, assemble, join materials to build foundations, floor beams and sub flooring, walls, sheeting, joisting
- Erecting trusses; building and installing framing for dropped ceilings according to layout
- Use of hand, power and measuring tools
- Ability to perform duties in a secure manner
