CEDA is hiring for four full-time Heavy Equipment Technician Apprentices in Fort McMurray. As part of our dedicated team, you'll engage in preventative maintenance and repairs on specialty equipment while enhancing your skills. This position involves hands-on work in a well-organized shop focused on safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventative maintenance on Hydrovacs and water trucks
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines from renowned brands
• Manage hydraulic and PTO repairs effectively
• Conduct commercial vehicle inspections thoroughly
• Participate in toolbox and safety meetings regularly
Requirements:
• Must be a registered on-road apprentice
• Valid Class 5 license with few demerits required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems is a plus
• Must provide personal tools and pass a drug test
