Join the team at Hillside Centre as a full time Neuropsychiatrist overseeing the 12-bed Neuropsychiatry Unit. This role integrates comprehensive assessments with a focus on multidisciplinary treatment.
We are looking for a dedicated Neuropsychiatrist or General Psychiatrist with substantial training and experience. You will lead a diverse team, conduct complex neuropsychiatric assessments, and guide treatment planning. Regular participation in BC Neuropsychiatry rounds and collaboration with peers is expected to enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough neuropsychiatric assessments for complex cases
• Lead and coordinate the multidisciplinary treatment team
• Join weekly BC Neuropsychiatry rounds virtually




• Serve as a resource during patient care transitions
• Advocate for patients' reintegration into their communities
Requirements:
• Relevant training and experience in psychiatry
• Skills in leading a multidisciplinary team
• Experience with complex adult neuropsychiatry cases
• Interest in teaching and research opportunities
• Ability to participate in on-call responsibilities
