The Major Gift Officer works closely with the Foundation leadership and healthcare professionals in Kitchener-Waterloo. You will manage a portfolio of 100–125 major gift prospects, creating tailored strategies for cultivation and solicitation. Your engagement will support impactful fundraising initiatives that serve 10% of Ontario's population.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a portfolio of major gift prospects
• Develop customized donor cultivation strategies
• Conduct virtual and in-person donor meetings
• Lead the preparation of gift proposals
• Ensure timely stewardship plans for major donors
Requirements:
• 3–5+ years in fundraising or major gifts
• Experience in healthcare or non-profit environments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in Raisers Edge and Microsoft Office
• Willingness to work flexible hours
