We are seeking a Cable installation and repair helper – telecommunications to join the YPS Prime Solutions team. In this role, you will be asked to perform various functions.

Wage: $25.00 per hour for 40 hours/week

Job Requirements:

- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school
- Work Experience: At least 1 month to less than 7 months of relevant experience

Responsibilities

- Assist technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications cables, including coaxial, fibre‑optic, and copper cables
- Carry, position, and secure tools, equipment, ladders,



and materials at work sites
- Help run, pull, splice, and terminate cables under supervision
- Prepare work areas by digging trenches, climbing poles, or accessing confined spaces as required
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles
- Load and unload materials and supplies
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times

- Combination of sitting, standing, walking
- Bending, crouching, kneeling
- Handling heavy loads
- Work under pressure
