TekStaff's Client has a current vacancy for an IT Security Analyst - 5

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

- 10+ years in IT, including 6+ years in security-focused roles supporting proxy technologies.
- 3-5+ years of hands‑on experience managing enterprise proxy services (Zscaler preferred, Broadcom, Forcepoint, Netskope, etc.).
- Proven experience writing and maintaining proxy security policies in large organizations. Robust foundational knowledge of:
- Proxy architectures
- URL filtering technologies
- Web security controls

- 1+ years’ experience to reflect strong knowledge of networking: being able to troubleshoot networks.
- Strong understanding of web security attacks and secure proxy configurations.

Nice‑To‑Have Skills:

- Experience supporting Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) specifically.
- Experience in financial institutions or other highly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of regional compliance requirements across multiple geographies.
- Experience with enterprise-scale change management processes.





Soft Skills Required:

- Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization
- Strong decision making, forward thinking and creative problem-solving skills to anticipate and respond quickly to technological/market influences
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction

Education:

- Post‑secondary degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related IT field preferred

Public cloud provider certificates CISSP, CCSP an asset
