1. Setup and operate CNC lathe machines to cut API and Premium connections for oilfield and tubular applications.
2. Change and set up cutting tools, inserts, and specialized equipment with a high level of precision.
3. Operate a tubular loading system, ensuring seamless production.
4. Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment, adhering to FIS policy.
5. Use hand‑held measuring instruments to verify that all parts meet precise specifications, ensuring quality and accuracy in production.
6. Ensure safety procedures and initiatives are executed, expedite and support incident reporting, and facilitate compliance.
7. Maintain quality assurance by ensuring parts are in accordance with specifications and gauging threads.
8. Perform instrument standardization to ensure that all machines are calibrated and functioning optimally.
9. Mentor junior employees,
particularly labourers seeking to become CNC Operators through training.

Qualifications
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least one year of relevant work experience in CNC operation, machining or tooling in an oilfield, commercial or industrial setting is required.
Skills / Licensing
- Must be able to lift 55lbs.
- Must be able to competently use a computer and be able to type.
- Must be able to work independently without supervision.
