You will be an integral part of the Mental Health and Addictions Program, providing impactful mental health assessments, treatments, and training for psychology students. Your collaboration with varied health disciplines enhances support for adolescents facing mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer assessments and therapeutic interventions
• Oversee practicum students and residents' training
• Collaborate with various health and educational agencies
• Create treatment plans for diverse mental health issues
• Participate in clinical training activities
Requirements:
• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology required
• APA/CPA accredited pre-doctoral internship completed
• Currently registered or eligible in Nova Scotia
• Experience in child/adolescent mental health
• Robust evidence-based practice skills
