Take your mechanics skills to Procon as an Underground Heavy Equipment Mechanic in Saskatchewan. This role offers a 21/21 rotation where you will maintain essential mining equipment at the McIlvenna Bay Project.
This position demands at least 5 years of experience and a valid journeyperson certificate as a Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic. Previous work in underground mining environments is essential, along with solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Mechanics in this role will contribute significantly to mining operations in a remote camp setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair drills, trucks, and scoops
• Diagnose equipment issues efficiently
• Uphold safety standards in all repairs
• Participate in required underground mine rescue training
• Support mining production at McIlvenna Bay
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic
• Valid SK or Interprovincial journeyperson certificate
• Underground mining experience required
• Must pass medical and security checks
• Ability to commit to a rotation schedule
