About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice-President, Students to join its Executive Committee. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and innovation in the development and integration of a comprehensive student support ecosystem. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective coordination of diverse service areas, with a focus on enhancing student success, engagement, and well-being. The AVPS will also lead the implementation of the company's Strategic Enrolment Management Plan, fostering a culture of enrolment management, and working closely with academic and administrative leaders to optimize enrolment outcomes.

Students position at the company should have a Master's degree in a relevant field, with additional credentials in enrolment management or related areas preferred. A minimum of 5 years' progressive senior leadership experience, particularly in a post-secondary setting, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic enrolment management, project leadership, and the administration of student services. Strong knowledge of student development theory, support models, and post-secondary systems is essential, as is experience in leading change initiatives and implementing technology solutions. The role demands exceptional interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as the ability to apply data analytics to inform decision-making and strategic planning. The AVPS will be expected to be a humble leader, fostering a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and respect, and to be adept at problem-solving, decision-making, and employee development.
