Position Title
SAP iXp Intern – Software Developer, Cloud Platform Services, Applications & Products
Location
Vancouver, BC
Start Date
Anticipated: 8 September 2026
Contract Details
Duration: 8 months; Work Hours: 40 per week, Full‑time internship
Responsibilities
- Develop cloud services and applications embedded with AI to support translation processes and workflow automation
- Design and implement new features in collaboration with other developers and the development lead
- Set up and maintain an automated testing and deployment framework in an agile, continuous delivery mode
- Iteratively architect and revise architecture based on emerging requirements
- Provide estimates for assigned work
- Coordinate testing, integration, and documentation of solutions
- Monitor and maintain support queues; provide primary support
- Perform troubleshooting of system failures in production, communicating with affected users as needed
- Share knowledge with other developers
- Participate in retrospectives and suggest ideas to improve team effectiveness and delivery processes
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate, master’s, MBA, or PhD program relevant to the position (e.g., Computer Science) or a coding academy/bootcamp
- Strong problem‑solving and creative thinking skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams
- Foundation in emerging technologies, especially artificial intelligence
- Knowledge of large language models (LLM), prompt engineering, and agentic AI
- Experience developing web applications, microservices, or API services on cloud platforms using Java, HTML5, .NET C#, or JavaScript (jQuery)
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object‑oriented design principles
- Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and quickly understand existing frameworks and business requirements
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work across different technical environments
- Experience with software automation testing and continuous development models (e.g., Jenkins, Selenium, Sonar, JIRA, Git) is an asset

Pay Transparency
Pay for this hourly role is within the range of 24–35 CAD. The actual amount offered will depend on education, skills, experience, scope of the role, and location.
