About the Role
The Company is in search of a strategic and collaborative Executive Director for Financial Planning and Business Support. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the organization's financial planning, budgeting, and business support functions. This includes overseeing the development and implementation of fiscal, economic, and business frameworks that align with the corporate multi-year financial plans and strategic priorities. The role involves providing executive leadership in financial stewardship, resource allocation,
and integrated planning to ensure the delivery of sustainable, high-quality care. The Executive Director will also be involved in the transformation of the health system, with a focus on maintaining strong financial controls, leading a team of financial professionals, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Applicants must have a Master’s degree in a related discipline, a recognized professional accounting designation, and at least 15 years' experience in financial accounting and management, including financial planning and budgeting in a large, complex business environment. The role requires a proven track record in leading and implementing change, proficiency in financial and administrative management, and the ability to work effectively in a agile environment. Experience in the public sector, particularly in healthcare, is an asset. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the leadership practices of the organization's framework, have strong professional and technical capabilities, and be adept at building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
