The Home Support Worker, classified as Level 1, will report to the Supervisor of Intake and Operations. Your role involves assisting with laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a supportive environment for tenants from diverse backgrounds. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist tenants with laundry and meal preparation
• Teach independent living skills to enhance tenant autonomy
• Communicate changes in tenant situations to supervisors




• Participate in scheduled training and staff meetings
• Provide emergency assistance and assess situations accordingly
Requirements:
• 1-2 years experience in Home Support
• Knowledge of mental health and substance use
• Strong English communication skills
• Emergency First Aid/CPR certification preferred
• Ability to provide a explicit Vulnerable Sector Screening check
