Summary Reporting to the Supervisor- Test, the Test Technician is primarily responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing production electronic equipment and systems on site in the Bedford facility.

As a Test Technician, your main responsibilities will include (but not limited to): Applies electronictheory,principles of electricalcircuits, testing procedures andrelatedknowledge to testand troubleshoot production electronic equipment.

Utilizes test equipment toperformfunctional,operational,and environmental tests onequipment to establishedcriteriatodetermine acceptability.

Evaluates performance of equipment andcompliancewith procedures.

Readsandinterpretsdiagrams,schematics, blueprints, andtechnicalmanualsforrepairand diagnosticinformation.

Performs troubleshootingandfailureanalysis on products anddocumentsresults.

Completesrepairs,maintenance, andcalibrations to test equipment.

Designsfixtures andjigs.

Capable of performing related manufacturing processes Interpret and follow documents such as SOPs and safety rules Interface with other departments to ensure productive flow of information and materials Meet production deadlines Analyzes,records, andinterprets test datato determine product acceptability.

Recommendschangesinmethod orinstallationspecifications tosimplify tests orreducetest times.

What you require to be successful in the role: Possession of an Electronics

Technician

Diploma and/or equivalentcombination of education andrelatedwork experience.

Minimum of 3 to 5years ofrelated work experience within afast-pacedelectronicsmanufacturingenvironment.

Ability to troubleshoot,repair,



andmaintainelectronicequipment.

Experiencereadingschematics and engineeringspecs.

Board-level troubleshooting experience should be considered a strong asset.

Fluency in English both written and verbal is essential.

Strong reading comprehension is particularly important, as we have seen challenges in this area across the team Must have technicalcompetency and goodmanual dexterity.

Ability toanalyze andinterpret testdata.

Ability to work on their own Ability to administer multiple ongoing projects Must have basic designcapabilities andintegration/troubleshootingskills Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize and meet work schedules; Ability to manage multiple assignments; and Works well within a team.
