What Youll Do ***this position is full-time, with a work schedule consisting of a rotation of 7 days on, followed by 7 days off rotation on night shift*** Support Zero Harm culture in Health, Safety & Setting On time Completion of documentation and reports Operate Emulsion Plant to prepare and deliver quality products to customer.
Operate and perform maintenance on plant facility within Dyno Nobel Health and Safety Management System procedures and practices.
Support emulsion and prill handling using site shunt truck and/or Mobile Processing Units (MPU) Calibrate equipment, monitor fuel percentages, check emulsion density, and perform Quality Control analysis on product.
Load and unload trucks & Silos, and maintain Site Inventories Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions in the shop, while driving and operating equipment,
and while on blast sites to protect personal safety and the safety of others (Zero Harm) Prepare and maintain all records and monthly reports concerning the production and sales of explosive products.
Aid and lead other team members.
All other duties as assigned.
What Were Looking For: 2+ years in a mechanical or process position Explosive manufacturing experience would be considered an asset.
Stationary engineer certification is an asset.
Clean drivers abstract. - Valid Class 1 drivers License would be considered an asset Operate and perform minor maintenance of heavy motor vehicles and perform gassing operations within Health and Safety Management System procedures.
