Make a difference as a full-time Youth Housing Transition Counsellor at New Beginnings - EUTC. Focus on empowering youth aged 16 to 29 in their search for permanent housing and life skills development.
You will work under the guidance of the Team Lead Coordinator to provide essential support for youth in acquiring stable housing while promoting personal development and well-being. Collaborating with various professionals, your role will include counseling and facilitating connections to critical resources needed for a full, healthy life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for youth support
• Maintain open communication with families and community resources
• Document progress and provide effective case management




• Offer crisis intervention and ongoing counseling
• Research and connect youth with relevant services
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in social services or related education
• Extensive experience within social service environments
• Knowledge of rental application processes and housing issues
• Robust communication and advocacy skills
• Hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and have a reliable vehicle
Support at-risk youth through effective counseling and resource connections at New Beginnings - EUTC.
