About the Opportunity Staffmax Staffing & Recruiting is currently hiring a Plastic Extrusion Machine Operator for one of our valued clients in Winnipeg.

Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor plastic extrusion machines to manufacture quality plastic products.
Change dies and complete machine setups for production changeovers.
Monitor product quality and perform regular inspections using calipers and other measuring tools.
Perform minor machine adjustments and basic troubleshooting to maintain production efficiency.
Ensure continuous machine operation while following production schedules and quality standards.
Complete production records and report any equipment or quality concerns.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
Lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs as required.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is preferred.
Experience operating plastic extrusion equipment is considered a strong asset.
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Reliable with excellent attendance and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation & Benefits Starting wage of $19.00/hour .
Wage increase to $20.00/hour after successful completion of the 3-month probation period.
