The College of New Caledonia is searching for an instructor to teach in its Heavy Mechanical Trades Program. Candidates should possess an Interprovincial Trades Qualification in Heavy Duty Equipment Technician or Truck and Transport Mechanic along with five years of relevant journey-level experience. Teaching or supervisory experience will be favored to ensure effective student interactions and support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct students in heavy mechanical trade skills
• Promote safety culture within the college
• Interact professionally with students and other staff




• Play a key role in the college's mission
• Offer guidance to students, both one-on-one and in groups
Requirements:
• Interprovincial Trades Qualification is mandatory
• At least five years of experience as a journeyperson
• Teaching or supervisory experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• PIDP is considered a plus
