In the Youth Reconnect initiative, your role is crucial in engaging young people and their families. You will deliver counseling, coaching, and skill-building sessions aimed at improving family relationships and mitigating risks. Partner with community organizations to offer comprehensive support tailored to youth needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Connect with youth and families referred by partners
• Establish trusting relationships for effective counseling
• Facilitate family workshops and group activities
• Maintain thorough documentation of client progress
• Collaborate with Youth Reconnect Workers on services
Requirements:
• Degree in social work or related fields
• Registration or eligibility with CRPO or OCSWSSW
• Minimum 3 years working with at-risk youth
• Trauma-informed, culturally competent approach
• Solid oral and writing skills
