Become an integral part of the Disability Management team as a Bilingual Disability Claims Specialist. Manage complex psychological claims while facilitating effective return-to-work strategies and leveraging your language skills in French and English.
In this role, you'll oversee all aspects of non-complex and complex claims, without losing sight of the client’s needs. Your tasks involve conducting functional interviews and evaluating medical information to support effective management. You'll also ensure compliance with the necessary policies while providing transparent communication tools for clients and claimants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage complex psychological and co-morbid condition claims
• Conduct detailed functional interviews to assess daily living activities
• Evaluate medical information for claim accuracy
• Create and implement Care Management Action Plans
• Provide continuous improvement in claims management practices
Requirements:
• Bilingual in French and English, written and oral
• Experience in Disability Management or Claims Adjudication
• Knowledge of disability programs and return-to-work initiatives
• Familiarity with medical terminology and health conditions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and internal database systems
