Job Title: Senior Personal Banker – Investing

Department Overview

At TD Canada Trust, we are the frontline of TD Bank. We strive to build deep and lasting relationships with our customers by performing a broad range of customer service transactions and providing information and advice on services, products, and solutions to existing or prospective TD customers. At the branch, we understand customer needs and identify opportunities to promote products and services to refer customers to the appropriate team member or internal Bank partner, while ensuring a positive customer experience.

In This Role, You Will

- Create a consistent and exceptional customer experience in the branch, with specialty and predominant focus in investment advice and experiences
- Requires deep knowledge and expertise of investment products; with in-depth knowledge of Real Estate Secured Lending, day-to-day banking, and all other TD products and services
- Ask thoughtful questions to uncover and understand customer needs, owning solutions that align to mandate and bringing in an expert for needs outside of capability
- Improve customer financial confidence through ongoing dialogue and by answering questions and providing advice
- Act as a subject matter expert in the branch for both customers and colleagues regarding all products, services, policies,



and procedures of TD – especially regarding both personal banking and business banking products/services or policies/procedures owned within the Branch
- Maintain a professional and inviting space in all common areas of the branch, adhering to premises, marketing, and/or regulatory guidelines, paying attention to the office spaces in which the Senior Personal Banker – Investing occupies
- Consistently engage in proactive customer outreach (via phone, email, etc.) to discuss portfolio updates and/or additional opportunities which best service the customer's needs; responsible for being present in the community for additional customer outreach
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the local market, competitive offers, and economic trends to support advice recommendations
- Ensure documentation that is prepared and completed is accurate, properly reflects the customer/business' intentions, and retained in accordance with business policies and procedures
- Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest
- Contribute to the achievement of business objectives by proactively attracting, acquiring and retaining customers / advice opportunities and referrals, to drive growth for TD; this role is particularly responsible for achieving market share growth by bringing current business to TD

Job Requirements

- High School diploma and/or
- Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree (in related field) preferred
- 2+ years relevant experience
- Investment Funds Canada (IFC) or equivalent
- Certificate in Financial Services Advice (CFSA)
