Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate childcare programming
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Build strong relationships with children and families
- Support, mentor, and guide educators in daily practice
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, and coverage needs
- Support documentation, attendance tracking, and reporting
- Ensure licensing standards and centre policies are met
- Communicate with the Director on operations and staffing needs
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized centre
Qualifications
- ECE Level I, II, or III preferred
- Experience in licensed childcare
- Leadership experience an asset
- First Aid/CPR-C required
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
