This position requires 10-15 years of experience in managing contaminated sites. You'll work within a multi-disciplinary team, overseeing environmental assessments primarily in Northern Canada. Your role will involve planning, project accounting, and preparing vital reports. You'll also train junior staff on essential environmental practices and health and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage environmental assessments of oil and gas sites
• Prepare Health and Safety and Emergency response plans
• Write reports,
including conclusions and recommendations
• Track project accounting per WSP’s terms of reference
• Mentor junior team members in environmental practices
Requirements:
• University degree in engineering or natural sciences
• 10+ years in contaminated site assessments
• Preferred experience in northern regions
• Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures
• Qualified designation eligibility in NWT and Yukon
