NTT DATA BCU, Inc. is seeking a Deskside Technician in Kamloops, British Columbia to provide critical technical support. This role is responsible for resolving routine and complex IT issues efficiently.
In this position, you will respond to service requests, install hardware/software, and assist clients with various technical challenges. Your responsibilities will help ensure a seamless IT experience for clients, requiring both independent problem-solving and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete service requests and provide technical resolutions
• Address complex issues transferred from the Service Desk
• Install and configure a range of hardware and software
• Provide basic guidance to clients in tech use
• Inform management about ongoing or potential client issues
Requirements:
• 1-2 years' experience with desktop support and break/fix
• Knowledge of Office 365, Active Directory, and printers
• Valid driver's license and personal transportation needed
• Must be fully vaccinated per Health Authority guidelines
• Willingness to work on-call and shift schedules
