The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for supporting and ensuring that our Child and Family Wellbeing department delivers high-quality, culturally grounded, and compliant Prevention Services to children, youth, families, and to our community.
This role focuses on monitoring service quality, program compliance, documentation standards, risk mitigation, and continuous quality improvement in alignment with Moose Cree First Nation laws, regulations, service standards, and community-based practices, while also ensuring compliance with applicable Child, Youth and Family Services Act (CYFSA) requirements and provincial standards.

The Quality Assurance Supervisor works collaboratively with Prevention teams, leadership, and community partners to strengthen accountability, consistency, and culturally responsive service delivery. Acting as a resource for quality assurance and compliance, the Supervisor supports internal reviews, file audits, reporting processes, policy implementation, and staff coaching to ensure services reflect First Nations values, the spirit and intent of C-92, and the priorities of Moose Cree communities and families.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Post-secondary or degree in Social Work, Indigenous Governance or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of Supervising staff.
- Strong knowledge of Moose Cree laws, regulations, compliance standards, and Prevention Services practices, with working knowledge of applicable CYFSA requirements.
- Knowledge of quality assurance, compliance monitoring, file auditing, and continuous quality improvement processes.
- Knowledge of PDSA, Lean, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

- Demonstrated ability to supervise, support, coach, and work collaboratively with teams and staff.
- Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Excellent oral, written, reporting, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise skilled judgment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with mCase is an asset.
- Ability to speak Cree and knowledge of First Nations culture and community values are considered assets.
- Valid Ontario Class G2 or G driver’s license is required.

Duration: Permanent with 3 months probation
