Lead the training initiatives at Maple Leaf Foods to enhance production excellence as a Training Specialist. Collaborate with plant functions to develop and implement effective training programs.

In this role, you will work closely with the Health & Safety Manager and all plant functions to assess training needs, develop learning objectives, and facilitate engaging training sessions. Your experience in plant operations and learning development will be crucial for creating tailored solutions that address skill gaps and ensure high-quality learning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct training needs analysis for operator skill gaps
- Implement standard work practices with plant leadership
- Lead creation of Standard Work Instructions and job qualifications
- Collaborate with subject matter experts on content
- Train SMEs in delivering standard work instructions

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years in plant operations or training
- CTDP certification preferred
- Proficient in MS Office tools
- Experience with Intertek Alchemy learning tools
- Solid collaborative communication skills
