EFI Global is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with expert knowledge in mechanical system failures and forensic analysis. Responsibilities include conducting incident investigations, offering remediation options, and producing detailed reports.
Experience in HVAC and heavy machinery is essential to succeed in this role, as well as being able to serve as an expert witness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and investigations of mechanical failures
- Provide root cause analyses and repair specifications
- Collaborate with clients on insurance claim evaluations
- Develop technical reports summarizing findings and conclusions
- Lead presentations at industry events and seminars
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and P. Eng. designation
- A minimum of five years' experience with forensic analysis
- Familiarity with codes and standards for mechanical systems
- Expertise in HVAC systems and related equipment
- Abilities in analysis and communication are crucial
