Employer Description Eagle Heart Centre Inc. is dedicated to providing strength‐based support and services to empower families, children and youth toward a healthy lifestyle in the physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual aspect of life.

Position The Kids First Home Visitor provides hands‐on, culturally secure, and trauma‐informed support to families with young children through regular home visits, advocacy, and connection to community resources. Under the direction of the Senior Home Visitor and Kids First Team Lead, the Home Visitor helps families strengthen parenting skills, promote child development, and achieve stability in areas such as housing, health, and education.

This role supports parents in setting and achieving family goals, building trust, and accessing culturally relevant supports that promote well‐being and belonging. The Kids First Home Visitor demonstrates empathy, professionalism, and cultural understanding in every interaction, ensuring that services reflect Eagle Heart Centre's mission, values, and Indigenous worldviews.

Education Diploma or certificate in Early Childhood Development, Human Services, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Minimum one (1) year of experience supporting families or children in home‐based or community settings.

Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft 365, data entry systems, and electronic documentation for accurate and timely reporting.
Works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining initiative and accountability when working independently in community settings.
Actively engages in professional learning, reflective supervision, and continuous improvement to strengthen practice and outcomes.
Valid Class 5 Driver's License and access to a reliable, properly insured vehicle.
Current Criminal Record Check (with Vulnerable Sector Search).
CPR/First Aid Certification.
