Can you handle the heat?! We are looking for a Preventative Maintenance Associate to work in a high heat environment in Acton! Full time hours, long term position!

Overhead Hoist repair experience is an asset

Job Duties: Install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot stationary and rotating industrial machinery.

Perform corrective maintenance on production equipment including overhead cranes, hoists, filter press, pumps, dust collectors, and hydraulic/pneumatic circuits.
Troubleshoot machinery and equipment during failures that may be related to mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, hydraulic and/or pneumatic causes.
Repair and overhaul pumps and transmission assemblies.
Install and/or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
Test electrical equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial electrical control systems and other related devices.
Work at heights during the execution of maintenance activities.
Design and/or fabricate jigs that aid during the installation and repair of machinery, or that will enhance the production process.




Provide feedback on the causes of equipment failure to improve the preventive maintenance program.
Report work done using maintenance work order system.
Report on equipment defects or failures to the maintenance supervisor.

Participate during the creation of maintenance repair, start-up/reset, and safety procedures.

Requirements: Minimum five (5) years of hands‐on experience in a maintenance related role in an industrial environment.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams during the troubleshooting of failures or during the continuous improvement process of those systems.
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Able to lift, bend, twist, and kneel
Able to work 10 to 12 hour shifts
Able to work in a high heat workplace
Comfortable wearing a hard hat and other PPE

Overhead Hoist experience is an asset!

Shift: Monday – Thursday 9pm-7am

Pay rate: $24/hour

Weekly pay every Friday
Overtime opportunities are available
