Permanent, Vancouver, Remote with some office, Working Hours: PST Must Haves 810 years in IT audit , risk assurance , and technology risk management within complex organizations Proven ability to lead automation , AI , and data analytics initiatives within audit or assurance functions Deep understanding of IT risk frameworks , governance , and regulatory compliance requirements Professional certifications such as CPA , CIA ,



CISA , or CISSP Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field Nice to Have Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries Familiarity with agile methodologies and contemporary audit practices Exposure to emerging technologies including machine learning or advanced analytics Responsibilities Lead development and execution of the Internal Audit technology and transformation strategy Translate technology risk assurance strategy into annual audit plans and schedules Drive transformation initiatives including automation, AI adoption, and data analytics Oversee delivery of the annual technology audit plan, adapting to emerging risks Direct technology assurance and project advisory engagements across transformation initiatives Develop high-quality, risk-based audit programs providing meaningful assurance and insights Coach and develop internal audit team members while fostering innovation and continuous improvement
