Position Summary: Sunrise Farms is seeking aSenior Data Integration
Lead(12-mont contract)to join the
Reset & Restart(R&R;)Programon a 12-month hourly contract.R&R; is alarge-scaledigital transformation initiative that implements our new Syspro ERP among other enterprise solutions.
This role will be part of the
Data Foundations Project Teamand willleadthe design, development, and delivery of the interim data integration solutionrequiredto support the phased rollout of the new Syspro ERP.
The primary focus of this role is to design and oversee the development of data pipelines that move data from the new Syspro Replica environment into the existinglegacyreporting environment.
This interim solution isrequiredso that existing operational, financial, SSRS, Vivid, Excel, and Power BI reports continue to function during the plant-by-plant ERP transition.
This role will provide technical leadershipandoversee the work ofother dataspecialists, coordinatewith internal resources and external implementation partners, and ensure the solution is reliable, scalable, well-documented, and aligned with Sunrise Farmsneeds.
Over time, this role will work with our implementation partner on our future state
Snowflake-based Medallion Architecture.

Key Responsibilities: 1.
Solution Design & Technical Leadership Lead the design ofdata pipelines to extract data from the Syspro ReplicaSQL Serverenvironment and load it intoourlegacy SQLreporting environment.
Define the technical approach for extracting data from the Syspro Replica environment and loading it intothelegacy SQL reporting environment.
Establish development standards for ELT/ETL pipelines, SQL logic, reconciliation, monitoring, error handling, and documentation.
Review and approve design decisions, technical specifications, anddevelopmentoutputs from junior resources, internal team members, and external implementation partners.
Ensure that the interim solution supports reporting continuity while avoiding unnecessary rework or misalignment with the future Snowflake architecture. 2.
Data Pipeline Development & Oversight Design and overseedevelopmentof pipelines that extract data from the Syspro Replica environment and load it intothelegacy SQL reportingenvironment..
Lead development of ETL/ELT processes for incremental and near real-time data synchronization, which is specifically identified as a key responsibility in the deck.
Guidethe development of data transformation logic, cross-reference tables, and mapping frameworks.
Oversee extension of existinglegacy SQLstored procedures, views, and reporting structures to support new Syspro data.
Ensure pipeline performance and refresh frequencies meet business reporting requirements, asidentifiedunder infrastructure and connectivity responsibilities. 3.
Reporting Continuity & Data Quality Ensure compatibility with existing operational, financial, SSRS, Vivid, and Power BI reporting environments, as outlined in the deck.
Lead the design of validation and reconciliation processes to ensure data completeness and accuracy.
Oversee Product, Customer, Supplier, and Company mapping logic between legacy and new Syspro environments, which is called out directly in the decks data management responsibilities.
Ensure master data cross-reference and mapping frameworks areproperly designed, documented, tested, and supportable.
Support historical data consolidation requirements andmaintaindata integrity and auditing capabilities across environments. 4.
Infrastructure, Connectivity & Production Readiness Collaborate with IT Infrastructure toestablishsecure connectivity between Azure-hosted Replica environments and on-premiseslegacy SQL reporting environment.
Define monitoring, logging, alerting, and error-handling requirements.
Ensure the solution is production-ready, supportable, and capable of sustaining business reporting during ERP rollout.
Identifytechnical risks, dependencies, design gaps, and support requirements.
Coordinate issue resolution across Business Systems, Infrastructure, Data Foundations, ERP stakeholders, and implementation partners. 5.
Partner, Team & Resource Oversight Provide day-to-day technicaldirectionto Data Integration Developers and Data Analysts.
Oversee work performed by internal Sunrise Farms resources and external implementation partners.
Review partner deliverables and ensure they align with Sunrise Farms interim and future-state data architecture.
Support knowledge transfer from external partners to internal resources.
Contribute to onboarding, coaching, and future internal data team capability-building. 6.
Documentation, Governance & Future-State Readiness Ensure complete documentation of data flows, business rules, transformation logic, mapping structures, and technical design.
Oversee creation of technical design documents, support guides, runbooks, and operational documentation, all of which are specifically referenced in the deck.
Ensure business logic currently implemented inthelegacy SQL reporting environmentis documented to support future Snowflake Bronze, Silver, and
Goldlayer design.
Support future Medallion Architecture planning by ensuring that interim work captures the business rules and mapping logic needed for Snowflake migration.
Help define support readiness criteria for the eventual transition to Sunrise Farms internal Data Management team.
Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in SQL Server development, data integration, data engineering, business intelligence, or related technical roles.
Experience leading or overseeing technical resources, developers, consultants, or implementation partners.
Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, views, indexing, and performance tuning.
Strong ETL/ELT design and development experience.
Experience designing enterprise data integration solutions.
Experience with reporting environments andbusiness-criticalreporting continuity.
Robust understanding of data modeling andmasterdata management concepts.
Experience troubleshooting data quality, reconciliation, and reporting issues.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional business and technical stakeholders.
Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications Syspro ERP experience.
Experience with ERP migration or ERP rollout projects.
Experience in manufacturing, distribution, food processing, or related operational environments.
Experience with Azure data services, Snowflake,Fivetran, and Power BI exposure.
Understanding of Medallion Architecture, including
Bronze, Silver, and Goldlayers.
Experience designing data quality, reconciliation, and operational monitoring frameworks.
Experience supporting future-state dataplatformor analytics modernization initiatives.
