The work we do behind the scenes supports designers andproduct developerstoaccomplishgo-to-market deliverables.
You will be part of a focused team of pattern makers, product developers, designers, and a cut and sew team that works on creating innovative product.
Our team builds strong relationships with cross-functional partners to realize ideas into commercialized successes.
If you were in the Manager, Pattern Maker role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing: Providing leadership to pattern makersand leads,while building, coachinga high performing team of technical Pattern Makers, and owning the day-to-day leadership of the team Ensuring thepattern teaminterpretdesign intent,createprototype,sampleand graded production patterns, ensuring that methods and documentation are consistent with known factory methods and processes Managing workload within the patternmaking teamto ensure development and production deadlines are met Maintaining regular communication with sample line and design team to ensure consistent methods for new technical construction are well communicated Working with design toidentify
Maker Phase needs for concepting and block development Working with design toestablishstandard fit by product category/end use and ensure product size/fit consistency, including consistent use of block pattern library by pattern team, working with design, development team on new blocks asrequired Establishing andmaintainingcomputer pattern libraries, ensuring change consistency amongst all patternmakers.
Developingandsupportpatternmakers in buildingSOPs / clear documentation and process to ensure smooth andanefficientprocesswithin the I2C calendar.
Partnering with Proofof Concept and
Commercializationteamsto ensure a smooth transition throughout the I2C process andenabling
Product Creation Development to deliver on time in full.
Collaborating with Designers and Product Developers toestablishand document product construction standards and illustrated technical specifications for all product Building business relationships with Designers,Cut and Sew, Product Developers, and Factory partners Ensuringaccuratefinished garment measurement specifications are developed andmaintainedeach season Troubleshooting problems and ensuringregular maintenance of computer software and equipment Identifyingthe need and building best practice processes and procedures are in place and understood by all team members.

You have a10+yearsinpatternmakingand production, with 3+ years in a leadership capacity Youhave the ability towork from pattern blocks or from sketches You have knowledge of garment construction, grading specialty You have experience using Gerber PDS &Accumark; You have experience leading a team You have effective verbal and written communications skills You have positive attention to detail You have strong interpersonal skills Youhave the ability towork independently You havedemonstratedmanagement skills You are proactive inidentifyingthe root cause of issues and developing solutions Youremainhighly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it $108,000 - $136,650 a year
The salary range for this role is CAD$108,000-CAD$136,650 (midpoint $135,000).
