The Cowichan District Hospital is a -bed acute care facility, enjoys an exceptionally collegial atmosphere amongst the general and specialty medical staff.

Duncan is a thriving young community with ample opportunities for a varied pediatric practice.

Join a collegial medical staff of Family Practitioners, Emergency Medicine, Anesthesia, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, General & Subspecialty Internists, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Pathology, and Radiology. A recent Cowichan District Hospital, which will feature state of the art equipment and design, is expected to be completed in and will bring added inpatient capacity in excess of beds, as well as expanded OR and ICU capacity.





Members are affiliated with the University of British Columbias Island Medical Program and provide teaching to medical students and residents.

The successful candidate will hold FRCPC or be FRCPC eligible and eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons.
