We are hiring for a relief, full time registered Social Worker for the Elk Valley Hospital, located in Fernie, B.C.

As an acute care Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting clients and their families by providing comprehensive assessments, care planning, and coordinated support tailored to their unique needs.

You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, delivering direct psychosocial care through counseling, group work, and meaningful client engagement.

In this role, you will help individuals navigate complex systems, advocate for their needs, and connect them with specialized resources that empower long-term well-being.

You will also support clients in building self-management skills, fostering resilience and independence.

With a focus on improving overall health and social functioning, you will contribute to developing responsive social work services that make a meaningful impact in the community.
