**Journeyperson Plumber (Commercial Tenant Improvements)**

Are you a Red Seal Journeyperson Plumber looking to take ownership of commercial projects while working with a company that rewards hard work, craftsmanship, and leadership? We're seeking an experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our growing team specializing in commercial tenant improvement projects throughout the Lower Mainland.

This role offers the opportunity to lead crews, manage projects from start to finish, and work on a variety of commercial, institutional, and high-rise facilities.

If you enjoy hands-on plumbing work, mentoring apprentices, and seeing projects through from demolition to final installation, we'd love to hear from you.
**What You'll Be Doing**
As a Journeyperson Plumber, you will: Install, modify, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing and piping systems.

Perform work on domestic water, sanitary, storm, hydronic, and natural gas systems.

Lead commercial tenant improvement projects from planning through completion.

Remove and replace plumbing infrastructure, including piping systems and vent stacks.

Install and refurbish plumbing systems in kitchens, washrooms, showers, and other commercial facilities.

Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and construction documents.

Coordinate project activities with Project Managers, subcontractors, and field personnel.

Supervise crews ranging from 2 to 10 team members, including apprentices and laborers.

Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and building code requirements.

Conduct ongoing quality control inspections and resolve site issues proactively.

Track project progress and prepare accurate field reports and documentation.

Communicate professionally with clients, tenants, and project stakeholders in occupied commercial spaces.
**What We're Looking For**
**Required Qualifications**
Red Seal Journeyperson Plumber Certification.

Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience in commercial, institutional, or high-rise environments.

Robust experience with: Drainage systems
Domestic water systems
Hydronic heating systems
Rough-in installations
Final fixture installation and finishing work
Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.

Experience working independently and managing projects from start to finish.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Reliable transportation to project sites.

Ability to pass a criminal background check when required.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Experience using construction management software, including: Procore
Bluebeam
Primavera P6
Similar project management platforms
**Preferred Qualifications**
Previous experience leading commercial tenant improvement projects.

Gas Ticket Certification.

Experience supervising crews and coordinating subcontractors.

Additional years of commercial plumbing experience.

Strong leadership, initiative, and problem-solving skills.

**Work Environment**
This position is focused exclusively on commercial tenant improvement projects within existing occupied buildings.

Projects are primarily located throughout: Downtown Vancouver
Richmond
Airport corridor
Surrounding commercial and institutional facilities
Because work is performed in active business environments, professionalism and customer-focused communication are essential.
**Schedule**
Monday to Friday
7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
