- Asupportive, team-oriented culture focused on safety and operationalexcellence About the Role As the Production Supervisor,
you will provide frontlineleadership for a team of approximately 12 hourly employees while overseeingday-to-day production operations. The successful candidate will be responsiblefor achieving production targets, maintaining high quality standards,supporting reliability and operational performance, and ensuring a strongsafety culture across the operation.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will spend timeon the production floor coaching employees, removing obstacles, drivingaccountability, and partnering closely with maintenance and operational teamsto maximize uptime and performance. The role involves supporting the crewdirectly, conducting safety audits, monitoring product quality, andcollaborating with maintenance and electrical teams.
Key Responsibilities - Leadand promote a strong safety culture through visible leadership, coaching,audits, and compliance initiatives.
- Overseedaily production activities to ensure operational targets are achievedsafely and efficiently.
- Takeownership of operational performance, product quality, and continuousimprovement initiatives.
- Supportequipment reliability and production consistency by partnering closelywith maintenance teams.
- Identifyopportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs, and maximize productrecovery and value.
- Ensurelumber products consistently meet customer specifications and qualitystandards.
- Supervise,coach, develop, and support production employees to achieve individual andteam success.
- Fostera culture of accountability, collaboration,
respect, and continuouslearning.
- Completeoperational reporting, issue tracking, and administrativeresponsibilities.
What We're Looking For - Required Qualifications - Bilingualin English and French (mandatory).
- Minimum2 years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, sawmill, mining,food processing, or related production environment.
- Minimum1 year of experience leading people in a Team Lead, Lead Hand, Supervisor,or similar leadership role.
- Strongleadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellentproblem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
- Comfortableworking in a fast-paced, physically active industrial setting.
- Strongcomputer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel.
