Airborne Engines Ltd. is a Transport Canada, EASA, Rolls-Royce, and Ozark Aeroworks certified helicopter engine MRO facility based in Delta, BC. Established in 1991, we specialize in Rolls-Royce M250 and Ozark Model T53 turbine engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul for military and commercial operators. We are a multiple Rolls-Royce First Class Service award winner and a subsidiary of M International, a US-based aerospace company. Our team holds an average of 19 years of industry experience.

About the Role

We're looking for an Aviation Parts Cleaning Technician to join our shop team. You'll be cleaning aircraft gas turbine engine components using chemical and mechanical processes and preparing parts for Non-Destructive Testing. This is a hands-on, safety-critical role and a strong entry point into aviation MRO. No aviation background is required. If you bring mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn, we will train you and support your development.

What You’ll Do

- Safely use and maintain chemical cleaning materials, solutions, and equipment
- Operate and maintain mechanical cleaning equipment
- Prepare parts for Non-Destructive Testing
- Handle aircraft engine parts using approved methods and techniques
- Identify visual defects and compare them against OEM limitations
- Follow maintenance instructions for continued airworthiness, including technical drawings, tables, and blueprints
- Operate measuring equipment, drill presses, bench grinders, pneumatic and hand tools
- Adhere to Canadian Aviation Regulations,



industry standards, and company health and safety policies
- Support Lean and Six Sigma practices in the shop

What We’re Looking For

Required

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Comfortable working with technical drawings, tables, and blueprints
- High attention to detail, reliable, and a strong team player
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to safely handle engine parts weighing up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working with chemical cleaning agents in a controlled environment
- Strong interest in the aviation industry

Nice to Have

- Previous experience in a cleaning, degreasing, plating, or parts-handling role
- Human Factors, WHMIS, CCAA, or Canadian Aviation Regulation training
- Exposure to Non-Destructive Testing processes
- Experience in a Lean or continuous improvement setting
