Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: Experience an asset Tasks Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Perform brake adjustments Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Perform preventive maintenance Receive and relay information to central dispatch Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses AZ class license Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) Air Brake (Z) Endorsement Documentation knowledge Accident or incident reports Bill of lading Driver logbook Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip) Maintenance and repair reports Trans-border documentation Trip reports Type of trucking and equipment Refrigerated Tractor-trailer Employment terms options Early morning Evening Morning Night Employment terms options To be determined Day Weekend Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
