Chef, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Consistently offer professional,friendlyand engaging service Execute food items for a la carte and/or banquet menus according to hotel recipes and standards whileassistingand overseeing production for relevant department Ensure compliance with hotel EHC policies and hotel standards.

Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, andequipment Have full knowledge of all menu items, dailyfeaturesand promotions Handle guest allergy concerns withappropriate careand importance by reporting to

Chef DePartie Adhere to all LQA standards set up for the department Consistently uphold a professional and well-groomed appearancein accordance withthe companys grooming policy Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage Embrace the Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions Other duties as assigned Qualifications Your experience and skills include:



2 years kitchenexperiencerequiredinafast pacedcasual dining experience Completion of Albertas Food Handler Certification isrequired Solid knife handling and safetyrequired Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision Ability to focus attention on guest needs,remainingcalm and courteous at all times Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
