The Director of Housekeeping is an integral role within our hotel,overseeing the

Laundry and

Housekeepingoperation by leading80-150 colleagues who clean,maintainand cater to446 guest rooms and public spaces spread out throughout700 acresof the resort & golf course and manage our internal laundry facility catering to the resort and external contracts.

What you will be doing: Reporting to the Director of

Rooms, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Consistently offer professional,friendlyand engaging service Follow departmental policies,proceduresand servicestandards

Consistentlyoffering professional,engagingand friendly service.

Ensuring the highest degree of cleanliness and maintenancein accordance with

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts standards,policiesand procedures.

Creating an environment wherein continuous improvements are made in the areas of GOP, EES, VOG, and LQA Effectively and accurately managing payroll and departmental expenses of Housekeeping & Laundry Departments, within budgeted and forecasted guidelines.

Developing and executing, in conjunction with the Executive Committee, any capital projects related to guest rooms and public areas.

Actively engage with local laundry partners and consistently source new business opportunities Overseeing all recruitment processes, and developing departmental succession plans Effectively manage allcolleaguesrelationships within the department Maintaining an environment that promotes the Health,



Wellness and Safety of both Colleagues and Guests Maintaining an active Preventative Maintenance program in conjunction with the Director, Engineering Ensuring high colleague engagement through recognition and removal ofidentifiedbarriers Overseeing the Housekeeping & Laundry Management to maximize leadershipsynergy Liaising with all Hotel departments asrequired Activelyparticipatingas a member of hotel committees asrequired Ensuring existing environmental initiatives are adhered to, and new and innovative environmental opportunities are implemented Other duties as assigned Qualifications Your experience and skills include: Previous
